1. i admired the eye catching look and color of this particular background, and it’s also quite reminiscent of the “samurai jack” art style.  looking at the layout, it made me think of one that would introduce a character coming upon the town, or leaving/escaping it. i have a tendency to be very curvy with my lines when i draw people, lots of circles, so for this i really tried to keep in tune with the background. giving the character more angular lines than what i would normally draw. in my head i picture him escaping triumphantly from the town, most likely stealing something… the horse. lol my TUMBLR my deviantART
